JaNay Brown-Wood is a poet, educator, and award-winning author. Her Imani’s Moon won Children’s Book of the Year from the National Association of Elementary School Principals and Grandma’s Tiny House won the Read Aloud Book Award from the Center of Excellence in Literary Instruction. A professor at CSU, Sacramento, she is also the author of Where in the Garden, Little Golden Book biographies of Harriet Tubman and Simone Biles, and the beloved Love Puppies series.
